Event at Ohio State

University planning calendar

By seeing what’s going on around campus, what’s coming up, and what’s already happened, we can help you get a better idea about what your own event will be like — plus, get the word out about it.

The purpose of the University Planning Calendar is to allow for general event awareness across departments. It is preferred that any event with an external (donor, alumni, fans, friends) audience be included in the calendar as early in the planning process as possible.

1 View the calendar

To view the calendar, visit go.osu.edu/calendar and log in with your Ohio State name.# credentials (the calendar is accessible to all Ohio State faculty, staff and student workers)

2 Add events to the calendar

Once you have accessed the calendar, click "I have an event to add to the planning calendar" to submit your event (unless you are working with the Advancement Events team or the Engagement Services team, in which case these partners will submit your event for you as part of the planning process.)

Note: If your event is already being inputted into The Advancement System (TAS), it will automatically be shared to the University Planning Calendar (no additional steps needed.) Likewise, once your event is added to the University Planning Calendar, it will be added to TAS.

3 Submit a past event

To submit events that have already occurred, please visit go.osu.edu/tasdataupdates and select Add Past Event Info & Attendees.
